The Xchange project
In the Xchange project pupils and elderly people were asked to bring an
old T-shirt which was exchanged for a new one with a positive message
written on it (Leli Lixa bendililindele - I am the moment I have been
waiting for). After the exchange photos were made of the ones that got
a new T-shirt. Of the old T-shirts a tent was made in which the pictures
were hung. All the participants were invited to come and collect the pictures
from the tent at the same time. Therefore the exchange was not only a
material one but also a social one.
